I wanted to let you know that a handful of months ago a couple friends and I started a non profit called Giving Sum (you can check it out at www.givingsum.org or on my page here on SI). Anyways, we are going to be granting out $50,000 into the community. THe application isnt very hard at all and it is due in a few weeks. I just wanted to encourage you to apply with all the good you do in the community. It was good to see you last week!

- Hello, everyone...please stop by Teachers' Treasures, 1800 E. Tenth St., this Saturday, April 26, and check out the Circle City Yard Sale. We have lots of office equipment and supplies, a portable potting unit, books, household goods and all sorts of things - thanks to the Rotaract Club of IUPUI for sponsoring this sale to benefit Teachers' Treasures. Every dollar contributed allows us to provide $14 worth of classroom materials to schools with 40% or more students on free lunch program - that's over 200 schools in Marion County!

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account
2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo
3. Events should be posted in the events calendar
4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.
5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.
If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
