I agree. This is a great way to get a creativity jolt. I also find going to small galleries (First Friday) inspiring as well.

I park my ass in the trees. Seriously--a good trip to IMA, strolling among the flowers and things, allowing my brain to meander as well, always kicks me right back where I want to be.

Remember to give yourself permission to have "non creative" times. I still fight guilty feelings almost every time I step away from the studio when I know I should be working. But stepping away for awhile not only gives me a break but makes me eager…

That is a great idea, maybe we should look into doing that. I think being around more creative people inspires creativity!
