Good old beercan chicken has always been the best way for me to get moist, juicy chicken on the grill/smoker. The liquid steams up into the bird as it cooks, its always a big hit. We've done a trashcan turkey that way too, with a big Foster's oil ...

Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
I heard about it from a friend and was intrigued. I've been pleased with the social networking experience of LinkedIn and, to a lesser extent, Facebook and thought that the idea of an Indiana-specific network was a good one. I'm hoping to reconnect with some people I know, meet some new people, and in general network professionally.

Hey, John! I just happened upon Smaller Indiana yesterday doing a Google search for something else and decided it was something I wanted to be a member of. My first group to join this morning was IT Professionals, and look who I found! Nice to connect with you again, outside of being your book editor for SharePoint 2007 Disaster Recovery Guide!

Hi John!

We don't know each other, but you were one of the featured members when I logged onto the site today and your photo caught my eye. I just have to tell you that you have the most striking profile photo I've ever seen....bar none. It is truly beautiful and speaks volumes about who you are and what you believe in!

Did have some family in Kokomo, but probably not the one you are talking about. My family is more specifically from Logansport. But could be wrong... Let me know more about you though.

What's Up John! I was thinking of you this weekend. Jenny and I took a vacation in Scottsdale, Arizona and stayed at the FireSky Resort for 5 days! If you remember, this is where we were two years in a row for the HOBY National Conference. I hope you and the family are doing well!

Hi John, not sure if you officially know me, but I'm good friends with Daniel Walter and ran with your sister in high school. Good to see you on SI.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
