One more thing. This really makes me feel like I have gone full circle. My nephew is a 2nd year student at Butler. And guess what, he is a music major. (vocal performance)

Yes. I graduated in 83. And yes, I am that Roy. Small world. I have watched you grow in the ranks of conductor. My partner and I will celebrate 19 years this October. His name is Joe Lackner. I am very blessed with a great life.

A little history on myself. I taught music in IPS for 17 years and became very bitter and burned out. Loved it for a long time. Found myself too experienced as a teacher to be employable in other districts. So, I went to hair dressing school. Something even as a child thought I might end up doing. I have been in that industry for 8 years.
Worked in Carmel at Salon 01 for 7 years. In order to be much closer to home I just recently made a move to downtown Indianapolis. I work at SPACE 934 HAIR SALON, 934 Ft. Wayne Ave. Couldn't be happier with that.

We live on the s. side of Garfield Park. Six houses from the park. Kind of the area I grew up. I would have never thought in my younger adult years that I would end up back where I grew up but it's great. We sold a home on the Canal two years ago and made a bundle of cash and bought this home mortgage free. That is a good feeling.

I don't do much music these days. Thanks for making contact.
