Anyone been to Edward's Drive In on South Sherman? I was there for the first time yesterday, to review their Breaded Tenderloin. The sandwich was good, but the Onion Rings were over the top fabulous. I'm gonna go back and try a burger next time! :)

Good for you! When MTV started their "Unplugged" series, it started an era where all these rock'n roll kids realized that Clapton and Cobain sounded just as good, maybe even better, without the band behind them. There's nothing wrong with putting a little "Folk Scare" into pop music.

I'll be in Indy for the BlogIndiana conference. Are you attending, by chance?

I think you'll find in pretty short order that a lot of the conversations on SI are prototypically Hoosier in nature: short-sighted, xenophobic and hyper-conservative.

There are some really inspirational characters taking part, though...if you can stand picking through the junk to find them. Just like the non-virtual Indiana.

The Smaller Indiana interface - courtesy of Ning - isn't completely intuitive. I click on "My Page" in the navigation tabs, and then on the left side about half way down is "Groups." That takes me to a page that shows the groups I belong to.

Driving Route 66, start to finish, starting September 9!!!

On September 9, three musicians and a photojournalist/filmmaker will be leaving Chicago and traveling the entire route of The Mother Road, Route 66, from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier.

We're making a documentary of life on the road, the life of musicians, and the life of buskers. I'll just post a couple of links where you can read more about the trip if you're interested...
