Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
Seeking to market myself to Small and Mid-sized businesses (between one and a few-thousand employees) in Indiana that need network, server, or computer help from an experienced IT professional. My specialties include support, administration, and deployment of network devices, severs, and workstations, and I've also got expertise at purchasing and deploying telecommunications and data services.

Other goals include networking with folks whose work occasionally requires the service of a freelance network professional. Are you working on any of these?

- Network surveys and assessments.
- Security review
- A corporate move
- Building a new brick-and-mortar site
- Significant growth in personnel
- Integrating acquired organizations

If so, you should reach out to me at your convenience at inquire@tommarsh.net so that we can discuss your project or support needs.

Tom Marsh added a discussion to the group Where's Indy Headed?
Although Indianapolis' downtown area is among the finest for "walkability" in the Midwest, many neighborhoods in our city depart sharply from this philosophy. Outside of Center Township (the oldest portion of the "old city") a great many neighbor...

As has already been pointed out on SI, Motorola's "Droid Does" commercial is much more in your face than previous advertisements for Android phones have been, directly underlining the shortcomings of Android's main competitor, the iPhone. As a str...

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
