Dear Diary, It’s been 14 days Since I last wrote.

Why? Not because I didn’t want to but because I read an article in one of my writing magazines that said don’t spend time writing on your blog when you were trying to work on your book. I took that advice since for the last two weeks I have been very productive in completing the rough draft of Chiczofrenia and as of today the first draft is done. Yahoo!!!!

Now my next focus is . . .…

Is it really July 7th already?

Wow! Over a week without a blog update. Not acceptable but I am full of excuses. San Diego got the best of me. It was a non-stop flood of work and presentations. the the holiday and now today my inbox is exploding and I feel I will never catch up. But it’s good. It’s all good.

Met some fabulous people in San Diego . . . .

U is for ubique

Means everywhere. I wish I could be ubique. The words I have been profiling lately make me wonder why we gave them up in lieu of the words we use today. These are pretty cool words.

Bi-Polar Blogger

I was chatting the other day with Dave Anderson of PinPoint Multimedia, and we were discussing this whole concept of blogging. Now I am no genius when it comes to blogging, but I believe I have some of the traits needed – I’m transparent, pretty consistent, and I enjoy it.

When I told Dave my strategy of blogging – throw in some rants, talk about a product or service, give a testimonial and then sometimes just sit down and…

'Skank' blogger revealed - Freedom of Speech? Who's right?

I saw a news report on CNN identifying model Liskula Cohen as the victim of an unidentified blogger that deface and defiled her on the internet. Apparently she became known world-wide as a 'Skank'. Also apparent was the fact the identity of the blogger was not being revealed.

In an interview with CNN, Liskua stated that she realized that the only way to get to the bottom of this was to call her lawyer.

Power to the Consumer - dealing with Social Media and Public Complaints

So they got you...one of your customers had a bad experience and now they are online telling the world about it.

In fact, they are so upset that they started a website or blog up and are actively denouncing your company. You went out and did a Google search and they are popping up on the same page as your website.

There's your company and then right below it, bam. It's that customer...the one that is really, really mad.

Well, how do you fix it so this guy isn't… Continue

Social networking isn't all about MySpace and Facebook

Whenever I bring up the topic of blogging in a Noobie class, anyone familiar with the term immediately conjures up visions of MySpace and Facebook. I find this ironic because most of the time I'm talking to people who don't fit the demographic for either of these web…

Smoosier of the Week - Dave Ambrose

The next Indiana Jones movie should be called “The Search for Dave Ambrose’s Free Time.” This is a man for whom the words “free time” are a myth, like Santa Claus and unicorns. But if you can find the time, make sure you don’t have anything scheduled afterward, because you’ll want the extra time. You’ll run out of time before you run out of conversation.

Dave is the Pastor of Formation at Bridgeway Community Church in Fishers. He’s also a… Continue
