Connie Swaim Do you love animals? Be a Volunteer or Foster

I volunteer at both the Humane Society of Indianapolis and Indianapolis Animal Care and Control. I have also done fostering for a couple of other animal shelters. This has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I now wish I could win the lottery so I could just volunteer full time. Taylor Martin A Schnauzer, A Mother Basset and her brood! A Valentine's Day Story

Midnight is our 11 month old miniature schnauzer. You can see his photo on my photo page. The photo was when he was 8 months old and was right before the really nasty winter weather set in. Shawn Quick-Raflik Rescued Dogs Get New Forever Home

A fews months ago, my husband and I found two dogs running around our neighborhood. One of our neighbors told us that they had been loose in the area for several days. After much coaxing, we finally where able to trap them in our garage. They were both beautiful and you could tell they were best friends.
