There is a documentary called Second Skin that was released last month about MMORG.
If you don’t know what that means..think World of Warcraft or Dungeons and Dragons.
Three of the main subjects are from the Ft. Wayne. Who you can see in the clip below
I’ve watched it, and despite some personal issues with the editing. Meaning it feels more like an episode of The Apprentice than a film documentary. I highly recommend the flick. Whether you rent it, or buy it, you won’t be w… Continue

It is my intent that every day I learn something new. Sometimes this experience can come from a book or walking out the door. Today I leaned a whole lot from a website called Ted.com. I found this to be one of the most sophisticated and time well spent website I have seen in a long time.
My journey through Ted started out with a video that discussed the origin of the World Wide Web twenty years ago by… Continue

For serious writers, there comes a time when various types of contests, open poetry nights, and sharing works to friends and family are just aren’t enough. One option is to start a free poetry blog, and it can be done in three basic steps. First, decide what kind of blog will be created. Then get a free quality host for free that offers an independent e-mail option, and then third, maintain and promote the web site through personal an… Continue

I am the project manager for an event called "Creating a Shared Future: Immigration and Community. A world cafe forum." that will be held on Sept 24th in Lafayette. I'm excited to be part of this planning committee. Not only have I met a great group of Do-ers in the Lafayette area, but every planning conversation we have is an enlightening one. I’ve been living in the Lafayette area for a little over a year now. I consider myself a Do-er, so even before I moved to Lafayette from Indianapolis, I… Continue
I just finished attending the IHIF 2008 Innovention Conference and have a lot of catching up to do...HOWEVER! I received an email from a friend of mine simply titled, "Interesting". I will say that after watching the video below I found it more than interesting. After a long day of networking, video blog interviewing and listening to life science lectures, I simply felt GOOD. So, watch the video and post your comments and lets see how others on SI.com dance around the world.

Now that it’s July, I’m reminded of where I was last year in July. Nigeria (photos my brother took are in the video above). Anybody who doesn’t appreciate America has never spent time in a “Third World” country.
You see, America is like the Matrix, and “Third World” countries are the real world.
It’s a luxury in that I get to sit around all day thinking up complex computer science pr… Continue

I found out on Twitter that today is World Comment Day. Today everyone is supposed to comment on at least three blogs. Well, I did it with 2 hours to spare! I have to admit that this was something new for me. On thinking about it, I don't think I'm alone in this. I often wish more people would leave comments on my blogs. But how can I expect others to do something I don't do myself?
So I'm making a commitment. When I read someone's blog, from now on I'll leave a comment. Even if it's just to sa… Continue
My wife’s grandfather turned 90 last weekend. His surviving brothers and sister, along with various other family members gathered at my in-laws house in Zionsville to celebrate. I was reminded of the first time I spent any extended time with Paw_Paw Jones. Five years ago, while my wife was having her wedding shower, my dad, future father-in-law and his dad had lunch at a nearby restaurant. Paw-Paw Jones is and always been a man of few words, who does the right thing because it’s the right thing… Continue
I have a friend who is starting a business who is a pharmacist and their business is selling pharmaceuticals to medical missions to overseas missions at wholesale cost.
Wandering if there are some places or websites anyone would suggest to get this business rolling.
We have Dr.s at our church and possibly that would be a way. Are there organizations that deal with this certain
type of business?
Let me know if you know of someone. The world is in desperate need! Continue
