Good-Bye Corporate America

Goodbye Corporate America Ok, not that I ever was really involved too much in Corporate America, but I still wave my hand and say good-bye. I’m making the switch and following a dream that I’ve had for several years now. I’m launching my own apparel line. I’ve collected sneakers for years, and at one point in high school I had over 100 pairs. I also ran an online sneaker store selling rare and hard to find Nike’s and Air Jordans. I got lucky. I had a friend at Nike who would send me samples of… Continue

7 things about me

You will also find this post inside the 7 things about me group. Ok, here we go. Arik Flanders, no relation to Ned Flanders, wanted to know more about me. Some of this stuff I really don't ever tell anyone until they really get to know me, so this is like a 6 month skip in our relationship if you are reading this. 1. 4,000 Member Party

I had a great time last night at the 4,000 member party. I didn't get home until midnight. Some of us took the party over to Scotty's Brewhouse on 96th st. What I liked: 1. Meeting people face-to-face and actually having a conversation with them in person. 2. Having people randomly come up to me and introduce themselves with "I've been wanting to meet you in person" 3. The creativity that some members used to help others recognize who they were. I was so close to wearing my orange sweater and… Continue

Testimonials, go getcha some!

You have a great product or service and you’ve got clients, but are any of them helping you sell to future clients? Most likely they are. Lets go back to when they visited your website. Did they see… Continue

Don't you want to make sure that those two visual extensions of your company scream "PROFESSIONAL. I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. BUY FROM ME. WE LOOK LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS EVEN IF WE WORK OUT OF OUR HOUSE!"? Exac… Continue
