Highlights from the Plant Exchange Event hosted by maple Creek Unity Group, Indianapolis, May 9th 2009

Well it would seem that the Greenerdog missed out on the excitement that was in the air of the Plant Exchange when it started at 1pm at St Richards. However there were still plenty of plants around at 2pm and there were still people having a good time and bringing in plants for the exchange when I left at 2:30. After talking to the friendly people that put the Plant Exchange together I learned… Continue

Are you interested in a job as a solar installer?

The above is in reference to an article in Treehugger online magazine. I am quite aware of the economic situations of many of my fellow Hoosiers with experience in the construction field. Also quite frankly I like Solar Panels and Solar Technology. Just seems pretty weird we are so willing to drill for oil and search for oil, but we have a hard time accepting that we need to use the Solar ene… Continue

Looking for Twinternship with local indiana Companies or Organizations.

Greetings my name is Ernest Rando. Last night I read an article in the NY Times: “Tweeting Becomes a Summer Job Opportunity” By STEPHANIE CLIFFORD Published: April 19, 2009 in reference to Pizza Hut Inc’s latest job opportunity. Then I got to thinking… (I am always thinking) How many companies in central Indiana could possibly benefit from such a summer marketing campaign? How many local Indiana Events are going on between now and the fall. How many smaller companies out there have important com… Continue

And here i am again today. Basically i am pondering how many people here would be interested in a presence at MIX 0Continue

My Thoughts on IM, please folllow with your own!!

As far as IM goes i already have Aim, MSN, yahoo, and ICQ (although i forgot my login info). For each one whoever you want to talk to also has to have the same accounts. Its very difficult to talk to someone that is AIM if you are MSN. (although i believe now you can talk across yahoo and MSN) Now there is an interface called Trillian, good freeware that bridges all 4 of the above services. http://www.ceruleanstudios.com So my biggest beef with yet another IM service is that the other person has… Continue
