Making people and ideas findable

Amy Stark

After the Fringe Festival --- September 4th there will be another opportunity to celebrate

The performing arts are unique to our species. It is something that separates us from all other creatures on the earth. To my knowledge no one has documented a group of Monkeys who collaborated on set design, lighting design, costumes, writers, actors, musicians and technicians all to present a story.

I worked at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre for nearly a decade, and I am always in awe of the creativity and hard-work required to produce a play or musical.

As you attend the Fringe Festival keep in mind the tremendous amount of collaboration that goes on behind the scenes and celebrate something that is uniquely human.

The monkeys have written the play of course -- Infinite Monkeys and Typewriters, LLC, I believe -- but they just can't seem to get the costumes right.
