The Great Indiana Flood of 2008... My son Noah (pictured is working on his ark right now)

Noah is working on his ark right now.

From 1:35s to about 2:25s on this video is where it reallly gets fun !!!!

At the end of our men's prayer this morning, one of my friends had just arrived to start cleaining the church. He asked us if we were working or praying for an ark... we would need it to get to our cars, the parking lot in front of the church had flooded and ducks were swimming accross. We made it out okay and went to breakfast at Bob Evans to "wait out the rain" at the time of this post... I am still waiting.

As I was driving home, I noticed the damage through Greenwood, Whiteland, and Franklin. Many homes and businesses were flooded. As I entered the Neigborhood, this video is what I saw. I just got off the phone to my friends and they said there was a state of emergency...Notice in the video how deep the water got. It was a miracle that I made it through.... I had a similar experience on 75th and binford on Wedneday, but not this bad.

So I am soliciting the help of my son Noah (pictured on profile) to help me build an ark... Later on we'll go fishing.

What do you think?

I am now uploading video from the entrance to the neigborhood... many houses and cars are underwater, you will see my boys walking along side me as the park basket ball goals only have 1' of backboard visible from the top... that is about 11' of water... this is unbelieveable!!!! our entire neigborhood is trapped and can't leave... US 31 is covered and closed down.

Just had a US Postal Service guy show me a picture of a truck that someone parked in front of their house, now all you can see is the roof! Oops!
