Making people and ideas findable
I have just returned from yet another trip to Disneyworld. My family makes an annual pilgrimage to pay our annual Disney tax and see the life sucked out of my wallet, yet we keep coming back for more. I am constantly amazed at the incredible infrastructure of people, organization, strategy, technology, and culture imbedded into the Disney environment. Everytime I go I see "constant change and improvement", I see new advanced technology deployed, and I see continued focus on the customer satisfaction experience. These are incredibly difficult issues to master and I am impressed by the longevity this organization has for keeping these cultural items alive.
Coming back to Indiana can be shocking because we don't see this kind of culture in the normal business environment, we don't see this constant advance in technology adoption, and we don't see very many organizations strive for this level of customer service.
My question to you is.... what organizations here in Indy do you see as having the best customer service experience and business strategy? What makes them special?

The best customer service I have ever received was from the printing company, UN Communications. The service rep there is, Andy Heavilin and he walked me through all the questions I had about printing. No matter how many times I messed up on something he was patient!
