Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Don Schindler

Indiana is winning pledgetoendhunger.com - but the game isn't over yet. You can give FREE FOOD to Indiana's Neediest Kids with one click.

I hate it when my team is winning the entire game until the last second. Don't let Indiana fall. Two Truck Tuesday Drive is in effect. If Indiana has the most pledges (or is in second place) by Tuesday and there are a total of 3000 pledges, we get a full trailer truck of FREE FOOD donated to Food Bank to feed hungry kids.

To reach this goal, we need to enlist at least 2,000 more people to sign The Pledge. That's just each one of us reaching out and getting two new people to join us.

With a concerted effort, the first 1,000 can multiple into 3,000 strong.

The only question we have for you is: Are you ready to run?

Here's Five Ways You Can Help Right Now:

1. Reach out personally to five people you know and ask them to sign The Pledge. Use your phone, text someone, knock on their door, or whatever it takes. Just ask them person-to-person.

2. Twitter like crazy using #HungerPledge and the shortened URL http://tr.im/mdsas. And, be certain to follow @HungerPledge for updates and news.

3. Join our Facebook cause (http://tr.im/gZzl) and invite your friends! Then update your status asking people to join you.

4. Write a blog post and embed our widget (see Share tab on www.pledgetoendhunger.com) to keep people updated.

5. Send an email to people you know well, letting them know why you support The Pledge, and asking them to join you, too.

We can't decide where to send these two trucks until we know we have enough pledges to fill them.

Once they're filled, we'll announce the details for how you can make sure one of them comes to your community.

Thanks, Douglas. We need 1500 more pledges by tomorrow. Do you think we can do it? I'm worried that it ain't gonna happen because we don't have enough people involved.
