Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Recently I posted a blog highlight the 2009 Kidney Walk. I asked that you contact Cathy Porter if you wanted to walk for or ...

The rest of the story is that I am helping Cathy because she has not been able to get out an organize her campaign herself.

Not long after signing up to be a team captain, Cathy became ill. Doctors evenually found that she had mold in the walls of her apartment and her management has worked diligently with her to help make her better. In the meantime, tests for the results of the mold poisoning revealed a weakened left ventricle in her heart and she hasn't been able to get as much done as she has wanted to.

Cathy's brother, Stanley, died from kidney disease and she wanted to do this walk to honor him and bless the lives of others.

I am helping Cathy because she needs the help and you can help us, too! Please consider walking with us or helping us to reach our $500 pledge goal. It is late in the game as the Kidney Walk in on JUne 13th, but it't never too late to join in.

Help us, please.

Thanks!
