Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

I rec'd an email the morning of Bigger Ideas from Mike Karnuta from the Indiana Sports Corporation and it inspired me to write and tell this to the crowd at Bigger Ideas.

We are the misfits.
We are the rebels.
We are the troublemakers.
We are the round pegs in the square holes.
We are the ones who see things differently.
We're not fond of rules.
And we have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote us. Disagree with us.
Glorify, or vilify us.
About the only think you can't do, is ignore us.
Because, we change things.
We push Indiana forward.
And while some may see us as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to change the world,
Are the ones who do.

We are Smaller Indiana!

PS: This is from an old Apple commercial, called "Think Differently" and modified for SI! I was pretty excited when I got on stage, but hope you enjoyed it!

You were awesome! And I like being a misfit, a roundpeg, and a crazy. Nice to know I am not alone!
