Making people and ideas findable

I saw the new Michael Jackson documentary this weekend; it was awesome! If you are a fan of Michael Jackson’s music, the two hours that you will spend in the movie theater will be some of the most entertaining time you will enjoy this fall.

It was so entertaining, that the man sitting behind us was tapping his foot, popping his fingers, singing, and DANCING for the entirety of the movie... Yes, the entirety.

The best part of the film is that we get to see MJ when he is not on his ‘A’ game. We get to see him in his “regular” rehearsal clothing; we see him without his sunglasses on, and we get to see him free from the shroud of bulky sequined costuming.

My biggest revelation during This Is It was that Michael Jackson was just a man, just like me. A man who was an extremely talented perfectionist, that worked hard, and was not afraid to create something new. My thoughts about MJ inspired me to be outstanding. Not just good or above average, but outstanding. I can be the absolute best, and have no fear about it. I can create something new, and pour myself passionately into what I love.

My legacy and impact on humanity can be just as great or even bigger than Michael Jackson’s, if I simply pour my heart into my passion and live it with every breath that I breathe. I am and can be outstanding.

When you commit to being outstanding as a business leader, you will experience an immediate and powerful impact on your life, and those around you.
