Your Wallet Could Take A Bath With Some Home Repairs

Sunday, February 28, 2010: I had a homeowner last week that attempted to fix his leaking Polished Brass (PB) Delta shower valve. The problem was that he didn't take it apart correctly and nearly ripped the shower valve out of the wall. I had to cut the drywall behind the shower to remove it, but found out that Delta no longer makes the PB finish. Capped off the hot and cold water lines to the shower, turned the water back on to the house and told the homeowner to call me when he finds another PB shower valve that I can install for him.
