Hi Allison!

I don't know how much I will participate here.
I was trying to contact my brother Matt last night - and found
that he uses this site. But having to wait to be certified
meant I needed some other way - I found his current e-mail
address thru Google - so used that.

I like Indianapolis, and Indiana - I have been
there just once - and visited the Speedway and the Speedway
museum while there - as I am a motorcyle and car racer.
At one time I manufactured speed equipment for motorcycle
and kart racing - and had numerous customers in the Indianapolis
region (besides all other states and a large number of other
countries).

I had driven across country from Lomita, California
in the van I had at the time - loaded literally with about
1 ton of documents to be delivered to a lawyer. I slept
in the van, on top of the documents when I would stop for
the night. I drove about 500 miles each day.

The time was April 1984. I was surprised that there
was still snow on the ground within Indianapolis' city limits.

I'm a big fan of Jean Shepherd's writing - and of
course, he grew up in Northern Indiana.

I currently reside in San Diego, California.
