The remodeling went well, and the best part is - it's over! Pumping lots of cash into an old house was probably not the wisest thing to do in this economy, but we plan on living there for at least 10yrs so we wanted to maximize our enjoyment. It just appraised well for a refi, so at least I feel like the money didn't go down a black h***. Thanks for asking.
