This will be my first time being in Indiana during the 4th of July weekend, so I'm wondering is there anything special that typically happens?

The right to fly the flag, the right to not be in town but to be holed up in a B&B, the right to watch or not watch fireworks, the right to be with friends or not with anyone and the right to clean the garage or not clean it.
