Making people and ideas findable

How's this for a starting hot topic. I say charcoal is the only way to really do it right.
Any takers?

I'm callin' bullshit here. Matchlight is obviously made from the recycled scrap from the Pinto production line!

The stuff on the background on Kingsford is real. The stuff you said about Matchlight is rumor. But probably real, too. They had to do something with the fuel they took out of the bad fuel tanks.

Forgot the other day to put in a plug for Cowboy Charcoal or other pure hardwood charcoals. These burn hotter than Kingsford, and I'll use a mix of hardwood charcoal and wood. I've also found some pretty cool variations- sugar maple hardwood charcoal, etc. Those I'll mix with Kingsford to help stretch out the supply. The higher heat is particularly good for indirect cooking, like roasting stuff.

I'll second Cowboy Charcoal. Went through this stuff a lot less then if I used Kingsford alone. if I ever had to charcoal it again It is what I would use.
