Let's Compile a List of Hoosier Bloggers

One of the sessions I attended at BlogIN was "Connecting with Local Bloggers". It can be challenging because there really isn't a good way to identify bloggers by location. So, let's compile our own list here and support each other.

Here's my blog http://waht-discussion-group.blogspot.com/

Please share yours.

If you use this group member listing as the directory, that's not such a bad idea. But, I'd also explore teaching everyone to join the largest blogging network directory, Technorati, which includes all sorts of useful tools, metrics reports, etc. that can help bloggers locate other bloggers, promote their blogs, and see how their blog compares to other bloggers.

Scott - this is a good idea. I know I signed up for this but perhaps I haven't fully explored all of its capabilities. Can you set up a "group" or whatever where you can list and link to all of the Indiana Blogs (in addition to setting up a feed for them)? Because I think it would be cool to have a blogroll of Indiana, and even categorized appropriately (i.e. political vs. non-political). I see a lot of blogrolls for the political Indiana stuff, but none for us other folks :).

Check out the Indianapolis Blogs blog. It's a list of -- what else? -- bloggers in Indianapolis. I don't know if it's comprehensive, but it's the first list of its kind that I've seen for our fair city.
