Are you comedian? Maybe so.

If you had to perform 5-10 minutes of material at a comedy club, what would you talk about? Would you be mean or nice. Who would you poke fun at?

I wake up, and say "Honey, I'm going out to look for a good-paying job today?" Politicians of both parties speak of wanting "better schools," "lower crime," and a "better future for our children" like these are stunning new concepts. Really, Mr. Lincoln, you actually WANT better schools? Wait, wait, wait, you said MORE jobs? That's just crazy talk.

I would vote for someone who ran on the premise of "You know, our schools are fine, crime is not a problem in my neighborhood, and screw the future, let's live for today!" Honestly, you know the minute they are elected, that's their view anyway. But it would be refreshing to see.

In the words of Barak Obama: "We need hope and change...because without hope, we cannot change, and without change, we cannot be hopful that the changes will give us hope. So, we can change and we can hope, and by hoping for change, we can hope the change will bring us hope will until the day we have changed because of hope (wait...or is it hope because of change?); ▶ Reply to This
