Event Description

An estimated $28 billion in annual sales in the United States alone is directly attributed to contacts, conversations and relationships initiated or conducted while on a golf course. Because of this proven potential of golf as a business tool, the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and the Brickyard Crossing Golf Resort are once again teaming up to bring Indianapolis-area business professionals Business at the Brickyard July 22, at the Brickyard Crossing. This event serves as the official kickoff to NASCAR's Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, scheduled for Sunday, July 26.

By melding business and local business leaders with the game of golf, Business at the Brickyard has quickly become the premier golf event in the Greater Indianapolis area.

The HP PurchasEdge Performance Golf Institute is the most unique aspect of the event. Participants in the Performance Golf Institute will receive five hours of small group instruction from Certified PGA Pros. The Golf School is not just for beginners! People of all skill levels enjoy attending the HP PurchasEdge Performance Golf Institute and perfecting their game in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Business at the Brickyard includes:
* Seminars led by golf pros and instructors
* Golf scramble where each foursome includes a business leader (limited availability)
* Performance Golf Institute for business golfers, from novice to pro, to develop and refine skills
* Awards and dinner reception known as the Brickyard Bash, presented by AT&T Yellow Pages

For further details on the event format, Performance Golf Institute and more, visit www.businessatthebrickyard.com.

To register for the Performance Golf Institute or for information, contact Alane Summers, event manager, at 317.464.2213 or asummers@indylink.com.
