Looking for volunteers to help landscape in Fountain Square w/ SEND - this week & next week!!
SEND needs your help! (Southeast Neighborhood Development- Fountain Square)
SEND is looking for volunteers to come out and help finish the landscaping on New Jersey Street for Fab For Less.
About: It's not just a home tour, it's a neighborhood improvement tour. This truly unique event will showcase the transformation of an entire neighborhood into a place that's friendly, beautiful, affordable, and incredibly livable. Fab For Less 2008 will be proof that comprehensive community development can make a significant difference in the life of an entire community.
Where: The median of the 1400-1500 blocks of New Jersey Street
When: Thursday (8-14) 1-5
Friday (8-15)1 - 5
Monday (8-18)
Tuesday (8-19)
Wednesday (8-20)
Who: Everyone, friends, co-workers, neighbors!
Why: To help insure that Fab for Less, Building Blocks of Affordable Living, is as successful as possible!
Bring: Just bring yourself, SEND will provide all materials.
The Details: Help needed with putting in the hardscape in the median area & other misc. landscaping duties.
Directions: From downtown, take East Street South to Terrace (look for Village Pantry). Turn right on Terrace. New Jersey is the first street on your left. Park anywhere on the street.
