Making people and ideas findable
Utility Co. and Tree Triming Legislation
Thursday, Oct. 9, from 10:00am to 4:00pm there will be a meeting in the House chambers in the Capitol to discuss legislation of tree trimming by utilities.
Public input is solicited. Photos would be most helpful.
Currently property owners have no protection from utility tree trimming crews. Legislation is being pursued to correct this deficiency.
Utility companies are making serious efforts to suppress this meeting, so the public likely will not get notice of it.
It will be interesting to see if any Indianapolis news media provides any mention of it.
Please attend if possible, bringing photos if possible.
Advise your public representatives as to how you feel about the issue.

We have had good and bad. They took down som problem trees that we were wanting taken down. But I also have a problem with them just coming onto my property marking up my trees and making cuts that are just the worst type of open wounds. No way to make it to the meeting but I will contact my reps. Thanks for the info.
