We are Happening in order to promote awareness of the blogIN UnConference coming up on the afternoon of Saturday, April 26, at the IUPUI School of Informatics. At this conference, bloggers of every stripe, as well as wannabee bloggers, will exchange ideas with the rock stars of Indiana's blogging community. Breakout groups will self-aggregate along discussion topics. Best practices will be explored and shared. In a beautiful facility, with the best and brightest of Indiana's online community.

I added this to Upcoming.org to help spread the word. Are we supposed to meet on one side of the monument, or otherwise do something to draw attention (aside from the clothing, which may not be as noticeable unless 100+ show up)?

We are going to have more than 100 people.. I have faith in Bruce and Smaller Indiana. But to be safe, lets start on the North side of the Circle and start fanning out from there. The Columbia Club has offered us shelter if it storms.. But the sun will shine!
We will be handing out invitations to the BlogIn Unconference. ( we have about 1,000 cards printed, and I think we can pass them all out in an hour! ) Maybe I am an optimist, maybe I am just friendly!
Have added this event to the Roundpeg calendar, Indy-Biz and my personal blog.
Leading up to the event, and then beyond, I hope people will write about, blog about, email, and talk about Blogging in Indiana, and how our growing tech community is leading is on the cutting edge with out
