What place does theology have in politics?

I'm currently watching one of my favorite shows, Anderson Cooper 360 and they are just ranting and raving over Sen. Obama's former pastor's comments and now about comments made by a televangelist, Rod Parsley, who supports Sen. McCain. Two polarizing topics intertwined with each other...what intrigue!

Can this engineer learn new tricks?

Let me add a backdrop for this post. I’m an engineer. Chemical engineer to be specific. I’ve always been around engineers/technical people. My grandfather built his own motorbikes during the Great Depression so he could get to work on minimal gas as a teen. My father is an engineer (we won’t mention where he went to school.) I just moved here from Laguna Beach. I grew up in Saratoga which is about an hour South of San Francisco. My husband actually worked in SF at Deloitte for a few years we both LOVE SF! In fact, every year we go to SF for Christmas and stay in the Sorrento hotel and Christmas morning before we drive over to my Aunts house in San Anselmo we go to this Jewish deli for pastries and coffee! LOVE IT!

What part of Sac? My cousin just graduated from Sac State! I leave for California in three weeks to attend her wedding =)
