Is Visiting the Dentist the Same Around the World?

I see a lot of dental practices in the U.S. and have a pretty good grasp on the variation of services that are out there.  The following blog post desribes one gentlemen’s recent trip to see a dentist in Sweden.  From his description, it sounds like the dental experience in Sweden is very similar to [...]

A New Technology that May Enhance the Client Experience

I came across the following press release for a new on-line appointment scheduling system that allows an email to be sent to patients who are in need of a visit inviting them to schedule an appointment.  From reading the PR it sounds like this could be a nice use of technology that would enhance a [...]

Reducing Patient Cancellations Through Interior Branding

Traditionally, people don’t like going to see the dentist.  There is a lot of fear associated with visiting the dentist.  Personally, I don’t get this, as I have always liked my dentist.  Those five years in braces may have pushed me beyond any fear of pain that I may have had when I was younger.  [...]

I have a project that is currently under construction and thought that seeing everyone would enjoy seeing a few pictures of how things are progressing.

The Total Experience – In Summary (last in a series)

Over the last several weeks we have been discussing the five elements that comprise interior branding. As you recall these elements are: color, light, and texture; human interaction; application of technology; ergonomics; and the “defining touch”.  The objective is to craft the total experience for the patient and generate a set of emotional responses that [...]

It's All In Where You Sit!

Over the 4th of July weekend, I took my niece to NYC for her 16th birthday. Now, we've been planning this trip for a while, and she really wanted to see the Yankees play the Red Sox in Yankee stadium before they tear it down at the end of the season. Let me say right up front that I'm not a baseball fan. I've always found the game to be about as exciting as watching golf or paint dry. I know, I know, people always tell me that it's better if you are at the game, but I've been to games before and… Continue

Hey James,

Lovely to meet you, on such a lovely morning in lovely Noblesville. I so appreciate all your info and insight. As you can see, I also appreciate the invite to Smaller Indiana, where I'm told I am now a Smoosier--although I'm really not a proficient nerd, I'll try to keep up.
Thanks!

If you're interested in a Cultural Trail tour, you can either coordinate a date with me for your group (limited to 20) or sign up for one of our existing dates: July 12, Aug. 2, Sept. 6, or Oct. 4. All existing dates begin at 10 am from English Foundation Building, northeast corner of North & Alabama St. Tour of the entire trail takes 2 hours, depending on size of the group. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the dental referral. I just had my first appointment at their new 62nd Street office. The staff was great. The dentist, very professional. The facility, very comfortable. And, I felt welcome and valued. A great experience. I'll certainly refer my friends. Thanks again!
