Strategic improvisation and indefatigable optimism
What are you working on?
I direct fundraising efforts for Broadway Church, a powerfully insane group of people who witness to miracles every day in Indianapolis and in the world -- nothing short of the dead being raised, the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, the lame leaping, and the captives knowing freedom.

I also do a bunch of other stuff -- I write restaurant/dining articles for Indy Star magazines, I serve on the boards of Motus Dance Theatre and Freewheelin' Community BIkes, and I juggle a couple of other projects in early development.

Pre-QUASH thinking & writing

In preparation for tomorrow's Quest to Unravel Alzheimer's Scavenger Hunt (QUASH), I did some reflecting on my own family's experience with the disease and wrote the following. When the baby was asleep – finally – and when the dogs and cats had settled in for the night – finally – and when the last load was in the dryer – finally – she took a moment and sat down. Finally. She pulled out the scrapbook she’d been compiling, off and on, here and there. Flipping past the photos and newspap… Continue

Thirty Minutes AND It's Free: The IMA

This is the first of the series of new posts I shall do (or the only post in a series of one -- we'll see) about places around town where you can do something cool in just 30 minutes for free. On Saturday, after an event in the city, I was heading home and decided to stop at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Here's how I spent 30 minutes (in minutes:seconds format) and $0 total. 0:00 to 0:30 Park my car, walk to m… Continue

thank you...it's all really exciting right now. The product is phenominal. The team is coming together and with this additional funding we can make the right investments to get to the next level :-)

Appreciate the thoughts

I am at good ol' Carmel High haha...I'll actually be switching back to my "main" field of p.r./marketing and taking a position at JPMorgan/Chase.

I'll see Lisa this weekend and I'll give her your information. I am sure she'll be happy to hear from you.:)

Scott,
I got a pretty cool way to help you fundraise. Let's set-up a time when you have 10 minutes to discuss.
