"Excuse me sir, but are you a senior?"

Okay, I accepted at a very early age that I was destined to be a character actor. I accepted the fact that my hair was receding, my features were getting more rounded (I prefer to think of this as filling out a bit), and I accepted the fact that I would have to wait to "get older" to play the roles that I was born to play. All this! I accepted all this, because I knew that is where my niche' would be as I pursued my humble little career. However, I never really ever felt like a character man. In… Continue

Dave Matthews vs. Barak Obama

My wife is a huge Dave Matthews fan! I mean, I think his music is cool. It fits right there in the genre of music that I like, but...I don't think he is the end all be all of the music world. Not so my wife. And not just her. My niece and her husband and all of their friends are cra… Continue

Breaking News! PRODUCERS actor addicted to crack (sort of)

An audience that is primed and ready for the show. An audience that freely laughs, applauds and participates with the show is like crack to an actor, and I gladly admit to my addiction to it. Especially in musical theatre comedy, there is nothing that fixes and actors graving like a hot aud… Continue

THE PRODUCERS, There's no place like home (click).....

Wednesday, August 6th TODAY'S TOPIC: There's no place like home (click). There's no place like home (click). There's no place like home (click). First off I want to say farewell and thank you to the fabulous cast of SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN HOMECOMING. What an amazing run they had with spontaneous standing ovations every night. They are an awesome group of people and we look forward to working with each of them again soon. But now the closing of their show means THE PRODUCERS cast and artistic s… Continue

I loved all of the photos she took of me, too. I looked at them and thought, "Good heavens! I'm beautiful! Who knew?!"

I put this one and another one up on the "about" pages of my blog (www.IndyTheatreHabit.com, in case you've forgotten - hah!) and I sent another one to be used in publicity for a big storytelling gig that I have coming up in January at the Indiana History Center.

I'm still looking forward to writing on my blog about the conversations I've had with both you and Julie...it's just a matter of finding time!

'Speaking of which, I wish I had time to see "The Producers" again. For some reason, I thought this was your final week, but it's not, is it. So..."break a leg" for the whole rest of the month! :-)

And I hope your allergies get some relief soon!

Eddie, Socey and I saw the Producers last night, and loved it! I have never seen the show, so today we picked up the movie... Honestly, I think most of the performances last night are better than the movie! Awesome show, thanks, and we hope to see you all again on A.I.M!

And Kyle, thank you so much for your warm welcome. I am glad you love Beef & Boards, because to tell the truth...I really do too. I look forward to getting to know you Kyle.
