I work for the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and we have a workforce re-entry program that might interest you. Every year nearly 5,000 ex-offenders enter Marion County alone. So many of them are non-violent offenders but can't get a job because companies can't/won't consider them. Basically, in that respect, they are treated the same as violent offenders.
