SEO: So Easy A Caveman Can Do It.

SEO: So Easy, A Caveman Can Do It. Well, I’m no “SEO” genius but I have been doing some reading and research via Google (imagine that) and I have come up with a few helpful tips to increase your search engine rankings. First, I must post a disclaimer. Try these tips at your own risk. I do not guarantee that they will work. I have tried them myself, and my company’s website found its way to the front page of Google within a week. Do not strangle me if you do not see your site on the front page… Continue

I heard this on Bob and Tom this morning. A hilarious song about Hunter Smith. Hunter wrote, sang, and played the guitar for the song. http://www.bobandtom.com/av/Hunter_The_Punter.mp3

Fun Facts you probably didn't know

I never really open forwarded e-mails, but when my grandmother sent me a forward this morning for the first time ever in her life..I had to open it. Actually found some of these fun facts pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share. 'Stewardesses' is the longest word typed with only the left hand And 'lollipop' is the longest word typed with your right hand. (Bet you tried this out mentally, didn't you?) No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, or purple. 'Dreamt' is… Continue

10 Reasons Every Business Should Not Only Have A Website, But A Good One.

If you’re like most business owners you battle back and forth with the famous question, “Do I need a website?” Fun question, huh? The answer without a doubt is yes, but it doesn’t stop there. Having a website is one thing, but having a good website is a whole different story. This article will explore and explain 10 (there are more than 100) reasons why everyone should not only have a website, but a good one. 1. Easy to Navigate. Hi Will, my main goal is to help educate others on professional development, career assessment, job seeking, resume writing as well as get these people in front of employers. I would like to set up a free Week long workshop to help those who are underemployed or unemployed, by assessing their personality, skills, and even learning styles to help them obtain a position with a company they feel has room for advancement, cares about their employees and provides ongoing learning. I have big ideas for this but that is the basic underlying factor. I am starting to offer my own Personal Assistant services "virtually" for those who don't have a need to fill a full time assistant position, but could use a little help with projects or other details such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements or meeting / function planning. Do you know of any contacts who may need these services? Also, are you aware of any 'free' or inexpensive meeting facilities to set up my Job Skills and Career Analysis Seminar/Workshop? I am hoping to create partnerships with as many corporations or small businesses in Indianapolis, who will send representatives from their companies to speak about the positions they offer or about the company itself, as well as to offer a Job Fair at the end of the week, including Post-Secondary Schools to offer information as well. Let me know what you think! I think it could be a great marketing event in the long run. Because I am working with little capital, I will be seeking donations to create copies of handouts and brochures. I am working on funding the plan myself, but there is little extra cash to pay for this idea. Please give me any feedback you may have. (anyone! - I enjoy hearing other's comments and definitely if you would like to help participate let me know, I am in the planning stage - so nothing has been set in stone yet.)
