WHERE AND HOW I SPEND MY TIME DURING THE DAY

HOW I SUPPORT MY WONDERFUL WIFE AND SON
My primary focus is working with HR departments to develop employee recognition programs. Even though my program can help companies as small as 50 employees, it can serve large companies of thosands.

I also have over 12 years experience in the promotional products industry. Over the next few months I will be developing a web based store with a personal touch. I launched the site September 30th with just a few products and will be adding more weekly. Watch the progress at:

Our Leaders, Our Educators & Our Causes

Here is an interesting quote I read today: "The time will come when they (the people) will not endure sound doctrine but wanting to have their ears tickled; they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." Look at our leaders and what they promise in order to get elected, appeasing blocks of voters. Look at our educators and how often they teach as truth their own ideals or the id… Continue

A New Election Law I Would Endorse and Use: The NO Vote

I believe a law should be passed to give every American two additonal voting options for each election: Democrat-not voting Republican-not voting I am not thrilled with the Republican candidate. It is even hard to type his name. However I am torn whether to stay home, vote for a minor party or hold my nose and vote for McC...(I just can't finish it) If I had a choice to vote "Republican-not voting", I would be excited to go to the polls knowing that I am telling "that" party I have had enough… Continue

Hi Mark. My name is Ginger Kreitl. I just joined Smaller Indiana to build my network in order to find employment in the Human Resources field. I recently graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University this past spring. I wanted to know if you had any ideas and/or contacts in the field?

Mark,

I joined this group quite a while ago and have yet to use it on a regular basis. In answer to your question, I own a small recruiting firm(3 persons) that focuses in 3 areas real estate dev, finance and IT. I also consult with real estate dev and construction companies on employee retention, acquisition and salary analysis.
I was quite intrigued by your company as well. Could you fill me in on the "type" of clients you usually target?

Mark,

I just joined Smaller Indiana and saw the mention of Hancock County Indiana Christian Business Networking Association on the main page, but too late to attend the infomation meeting in Greenfield. My business is in Greenfield and I would love to have some information about it. Please let me know how to get some information. Maybe I already know one of the people who attended today and can get with them.

Thank you,

Dennis Beeson

Mark,

It's good to see you on smaller Indiana. I see you picked up the feel for it right away. Sorry I didn't make it to last weeks meeting my daughter was in town visiting and I just loved seeing and spending time with her. I do still plan on becoming a member of CBNA. I will try to make it to tomorrow's meeting at Pipers.

Mark, my name is Eric Kallin and I am a fellow Smoosier who has just read your Smoosier profile this very early Saturday morning. I happen to be the founder and principal of the Indiana Biz Network. We are a multi-chapter biz networking organization that is based in central Indiana with locations in Marion, Johnson, Hamilton, and Boone Counties. I wish to invite you to attend a complimentary edition of our next Tuesday, August 26th Broad Ripple Chapter networking mixer at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home on east 62nd Street. We would like to find ways to help you build following in CBNA. Would you like to attend our mixer Tuesday morning?

Trusted Partners matches volunteer mentors with individuals in homeless prevention programs in Indianapolis. We're currently a program at Immanuel United Church of Christ but we're outgrowing our space and working to become an independent agency. We've attended at least one of your CBNA meetings.
