Attracting New Customers While Staying "Top of Mind" With Your Current Contacts

From TipTopics.com: If you're a small business owner and/or professional service provider, you face a daunting challenge: turning strangers into customers. Referrals help because prospects trust their friends who might have already used your services. But referrals typically can't reach far enough to quickly grow your business, so you may need to rely on advertising and other key marketing initiatives. Here are some tips f… Continue

5 Goofs That Can Wreck Your Business Communications (And How to Fix Them Before They Do)

From TipTopics.com: Even the smartest business professionals and most skilled communicators sometimes lose focus. Competing priorities and tight schedules can cause otherwise diligent people to give less than their best effort. But if you think others won't notice, you're wrong. If you think glaring goofs don't send the wrong message, think again. The truth is that your audience -- from co-workers to clients and prospects… Continue

Hi, Bob,

Thanks for your email address (and Jeff's). I'll go ahead and send the stuff over to you.

And yes, I'd love to get together to talk about TipTopics. I've got some time next Monday, Wednesday and Thursday morning. Will any of those work for you?

Hi Bob,
I read you TipsTopics article. I liked it. I am doing many of those things, however I need more help. I am a licensed psychologist, but I am really shifting into a focus upon coaching. I would like to understand better how your approach works. I do believe I need a professional to help me get the word out better on my website, through e-mail and through print. So let me know your thoughts. My website is; www.charlesshinaveriiiphd.com. You can e-mail me at charles.shinaver@gmail.com and my office phone is 337-9227.

Rainmakers Marketing Alliance!!!

Look at this. Two Bobs with one post!!!!

Kyle Lacy and I are heading up a Rainmakers Marketing Alliance. The marketing talent within Rainmakers is just too valuable not to be organized in some fashion.

You guys should certainly be a part of it. The main purpose is just to get a head count of marketing/advertising pros within Rainmakers and make it easier for us to know each other. Maybe we'll pick a particular meeting every month to blow up with marketing/Ad people.

The current way of meeting them is by going from meeting to meeting and asking random people "do you know any marketing/advertising people here?" Seems like we should have a community within the community.

I think I'll start a discussion in the Rainmakers group later today when I have more time.

That would work for me, is there any place you prefer? Send me an email at bob.hettel(at)searchlightsolutions.com and we can work out a location.

Hi Bob, The first is bad for me at lunch - I've got a meeting schedule down in Irvington. I'm open the rest of the day or I'd be happy to meet up another day somewhere.

Hi Bob, I saw your post today about savy advertising. I've run into quite a few people who forget all about existing customers on only focus on new ones. My company specializes in getting people to focus on their customers. I'd love to get together sometime and find out more about you and tiptopics.
