Last night I had the pleasure of listening to Elizabeth Gilbert speak. She wrote the #1 New York Times Bestselling memoir called, Eat Pray Love! I had read the book quite a while ago and have recommended it to many friends. Last night was a dream come true for me. Her book really struck a cord in me and I couldn't wait to hear her share her thoughts. She was so entertaining at times I felt like I was at a comedy show. She is a wonderful story teller. She told us that from an early age she wanted… Continue

I was verbally attacked at a tradeshow in Chicago because I was wearing an Obama pin. It was such a strange experience. I was actually surprised the lady said anything to me, since I am a crazy redhead (what was she thinking)! I did not shy away from offering up my views. Bottom line is, this is a free Country. We have the opportunity to vote for the candidate that we think is the best. I am so tired of people getting personal and making rude comments. Why can't we all just be nice. I only wish… Continue

Today I had the best lunch at the PITA PIT!!! Yes, friends it is open. I really can't express in words how good the food is - you have to go a see for yourself. They are located in the Willow Lake West Plaza on 86th street (same complex as Trader Joe's). I ordered the Chicken Crave with red onion, black olives, feta cheese and the secret sauce. IT ROCKS!!! I hope you all can go try it - plus, they deliver!

Today is a good day! I just heard the most amazing news. This is huge. Pita Pit is coming to Indy!!! If you don't know the magic of the Pita Pit than you should check out www.pitapitusa.com. I first went to the PP two years ago in Charlotte, NC. It is so good. My favorite is the Crave. This sandwich (pita) is one of my favorites. It rates up there with the Rock Bottom's - Club and the Friendly Tavern's - Grilled Tenderloin. Yes, I am way to excited about food. I have issues. Redhead Out!

I am so excited! After eating lunch at my favorite Mexican Resturant, El Rodeo (86th & Zionsville), I picked up the Nuvo. To my amazement was an ad claiming that WICKED is coming to Indy June 3-21, 2009 at the Murat Theatre. This is wonderful news. I have been wanting to see this musical for so long. I have had a hard time talking my husband into going to Chicago to see it. Now it is coming here. Yes, I know, it is over a year away. But, I am counting down the days. YEAH!!!

It was wonderful meeting you at the Smoosier Soiree on Thursday. I feel really excited about the quality people I met, and hope to get to know better. When I left that night I told Pat and Matt, "I just love smaller Indiana people. It feels like a special group of people."
Of course...I got your back:)
