Thanks for the welcome. Of course I love our organization, but I know lots of others who believe it is great, too! I would love to get your dad some information.
My job is to accommodate all our volunteers who sign up to participate in an endurance event while fundraising for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We take care of their training and have some amazing coaches! We also help them with fundraising and then take care of most costs associated with event weekend including the hotel, flight and race entry.
Our goal is that only 25% of all money brought in goes to participant costs, leaving lots for our mission of curing blood cancer. We are just finishing up recruiting for our fall events ... the running events are in Virginia Beach, Chicago and San Francisco. This season we are also taking a cycle group to Hawaii and two tri groups to Chicago and Washington D.C. If this is something your dad is interested in, I'd be happy to give him a call or send him some information via email. Thanks again, Matthew!

Welcome to SmallerIndiana! I took a look at your website. What a great organization! My dad is currently working on running a mini / full marathon in all 50 states.
