I love- volunteering, being creative, and collaborating with talented people. In my spare time, I enjoy working with Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, long walks on the Monon with our rescue pugs Sophie and Dixie, and doing home improvements with my boyfriend Brian.

Pug & Bugg (Sophie the pug and Dixie the Boston-Pug) do NOT like rain!
Check out their AWESOME dog-blog, "The Misadventures of Pug & Bugg!"

I'm not much on little dogs, I've always been a big dog guy myself. But I have to admit, pugs are cool dogs. Their personalities range so much. I've met mean ones but I've met really cool ones too. Some are hyper and some are all laid back. They seem to have more of a personality range than most dogs.

Kelly,
I hope you had fun at Uno's and I hope there were alot of people from KPR there! I was out of town so I couldn't be there. One of these days we'll make it out for the Pug meet up. I own a DJ company and end up DJing most every Saturday so we don't usally get a chance to get to things for the rescue or for the meetup but one day we will. What do you do for a living?

Thanks! Sorry for the REALLY slow response! I just logged on today after a long hiatus and realized we have over 40 members. So go ahead and send me the photos of the pugs if you like - we can rotate the photos of various members dogs in the avatar spot.
Also - if you're still looking for work we should connect, I have several ideas for you.

How are you? I saw that you love to volunteer and are passionate about the community. A couple friends of mine and I started an organization in town called Giving Sum (www.givingsum.org or givingsum.ning.com) . We are geared towards getting professionals involved in the community through education, volunteering, and financially. Our goal is to grant out $50,000 in the first year! We are at about 85 members with capping it at 100. I hope you are doing well! Let me know what you think!
