More Internet Information Means More Disinformation, Warns a Dartmouth Engineering Professor

From the Dartmouth News: “Why is the stock market fluctuating wildly these days? Is it poor earnings reports? Is it questionable accounting practices or CEO inefficiency? Or do investors trade frantically after they’ve read something on the Internet? If an investor reads a seemingly authoritative report about a company’s performance, he or she might be influenced [...]

Dr. Godfrey Goodard v Mr. Rory Angst

Sometimes you connect personally to a play. And sometimes the play is interactive and it appears to be both audience and actors in concert. There are so many messages in the is play about so many issues, especially in ethics of medicine and the full cycle of diagnosis to treatment. I wish there could have been a recovery Goddard v Angst though. The air horn was very disturbing for my friend and guest who is in the psychology field. I thoroughly enjoyed an d recommend it to all. Quick Review: Assholes and Aureoles. Ha!

Oftentimes I shoot the shit with my buddies and we say some pretty crude things. Deeply inappriate humor. It is odd to see and hear things out of two actresses mouths to a real, live audience that surpasses this behavior. Asshole and Aureoles is definitely funny in places and shocking in several instances taking things way over the edge of the fringe, IMHO. Funny, funny, funny!

Matt--pass this on!

St. Baldricks Day in Feb 09.

This event consists of bands, beer, & the most important part--PEOPLE GETTING THEIR HEADS SHAVED FOR CHILDREN'S CANCER. So here's the thing--for the people signing up and taking donations to shave their heads--if you collect $3K (all peeps shaving heads) and bring all of your peeps out to spend more money that night--I Maggie Murry, crazy as I am WILL GET ON STAGE AND ALLOW SOMEONE TO SHAVE MY HEAD! -- I would like to make at least $5K-$7K total that night. To the person who brings in the most donations--I will let you take the first strip of hair off down the center of my head.
